Xiaomi has begun taking significant steps toward the much-anticipated POCO F7 series. While the number of reports about these smartphones has been limited so far, this is slowly starting to change. Recent developments reveal that the POCO F7 Pro model has reached a major milestone on its way to a global launch. Here are the details!
POCO F7 Pro Spotted on FCC Database
The POCO F7 Pro has been listed in the FCC database with the model number 24117RK2CG. This development indicates that the phone is nearing its global release. Additionally, it provides some hints about the device’s technical specifications.
According to the FCC listing, the upcoming POCO F7 Pro will feature a 5,830mAh battery. It is also reported to support 90W fast charging. However, considering its predecessor offered 120W fast charging, this model may be seen as a step back in this regard.
The POCO F7 Pro is expected to come out of the box running Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. It will also include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), and support for multiple frequency bands in 4G LTE and 5G NR.
There are also unconfirmed rumors suggesting that the F7 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80, which was launched in China this past November. If true, both models are likely to share identical specifications.
