Xiaomi, along with its sub-brands, continues to expand its product lineup. The Chinese company has been working on the Redmi 15C and Poco C85 for a while, and these models are the latest examples of its efforts. Recent developments indicate that the phones have crossed a significant milestone.
Redmi 15C and Poco C85 Receive NBTC Certification
According to information shared by XpertPick, the Redmi 15C and POCO C85 have been approved by NBTC with model numbers 25078RA3EA and 25078PC3EG, respectively. Although this development doesn’t reveal any technical specifications, it strongly suggests that the official launch is right around the corner.
The NBTC listing confirms that both devices will support 4G, hinting at a budget-friendly price point for the new models.
Countdown Begins for Xiaomi 16 Global: Another Milestone Achieved
Xiaomi 16 has also reportedly passed a major milestone, receiving ECC certification with model number 25113PN0EG. But what does this mean exactly? Let’s take a closer look.
According to reliable sources, the Redmi 15C will feature a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It’s expected to be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Out of the box, the device will run HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15.
Unfortunately, there is no official word on the launch dates for either smartphone. However, the ‘2507’ portion in their model numbers could hint at a late-July release. Of course, this could just be a coincidence, so it’s best to wait for an official statement from the company.
