Xiaomi has accelerated its efforts for its first smartphone with a vertically foldable design. The model, which will be called Xiaomi MIX Flip, has received new certificates in China. Thanks to the 3C certificate, some basic features have also leaked.
Xiaomi MIX Flip comes with 67W fast charging
The foldable phone market continues to grow rapidly. Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, which is preparing to launch not one but two models this year, cannot keep the features of its new devices a secret. According to the leaks, the Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 models, which will be introduced in the third quarter of 2024, attract attention.
According to the certificate listing, Xiaomi MIX Flip with model number 2405CPX3DC will support fast charging up to 67W. This reveals that it will have similar charging features with flat screen devices. The panel of the model, which will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will be entrusted to Samsung.
There will also be a small screen below the cameras for checking notifications and taking selfies using the rear cameras. Previous leaks have revealed that the MIX Flip’s main camera will include a 50 Megapixel Light Hunter 800 sensor and a Howey OV60A sensor.
The phone is also said to be manufactured by Xiaomi’s own production facility, Beijing Changshu Technology. In this context, it is likely to be cheaper than its competitors at the price point. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed this model, but let’s underline that the first vertically foldable model may be released soon.
