Xiaomi is also working on a third electric vehicle model targeting the 20-25 thousand dollar price level. The affordable model is planned to be released in 2026. With three vehicles, the company will appeal to different price segments in the electric car market.
If it becomes a reality, the $25,000 model will be one of the cheapest vehicles of both Xiaomi and the electric car market. It should not be ignored that competitors such as BYD, NIO and Xpeng come to the fore in the rapidly growing Chinese automobile sector.
