Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Desktop Speaker 2 Pro, a new desktop speaker focused on sound quality, design, and versatile connectivity, in the Chinese market with a price tag of 369 yuan (approximately $52). The speaker comes in two colors: Graphite Black and Metallic Silver. Here are the details.

The speaker, with its cylindrical design, stands out with its metal grille. Its quad-driver setup, consisting of two 10W racetrack speakers and dual passive bass radiators, delivers a powerful audio experience.
The drivers are positioned at a 53-degree angle to align with the natural listening position. This creates a wider soundstage (what Xiaomi calls a “sky soundstage”). The speaker has also received the CGEC Golden Ear certification, demonstrating its sound quality.
The device features a DSP digital audio processor that reduces noise in the signal chain and preserves detail. It offers five different EQ modes: Balanced, Deep Bass, Pure Vocals, Game, and Cinema.
The Redmi Desktop Speaker 2 Pro also offers a visual feast with 24 RGB LED lights that can operate in six different modes. The lighting can create dynamic effects in sync with audio playback. The speaker is compatible with a wide range of devices thanks to its USB digital input, Bluetooth 5.3, and AUX connection options. It also features a built-in microphone and an external microphone input. It’s not yet known whether the device will be available in the Turkish market.
