Google announced Android 13 media controls support for Youtube Music. Then sent an update to some YouTube Music app users. Beta developers and YouTube Music 5.16 users can download this and use its features. Let’s check the details…
Youtube Music update brings Android 13’s media controls support
Google introduced the updated media controls earlier this year. But it comes with a few changes to the YouTube Music app. YouTube Music 5.16 gets the visual changes in Android 13’s redesigned media controls. It changed pretty much rather than its earlier version. These changes are mostly about the design and control of the buttons.
You can see in the screenshots, the updated media controls for YouTube Music app. There is a cover art in the background, buttons compatible with song cover art theme. On the left top YouTube Music icon stands and with the song and singer name below.
Also, there is a large play/pause button on the right side of the controls. This feature lets you use a new animated progress bar with forward and back buttons at the bottom. You can use this feature for all YouTube Music tools like songs, and podcasts. Additionally, like/dislike button disappear with this feature.
As we mentioned earlier, YouTube Music Android 13 update has not released for all users. Only a small number of members can use it. Therefore, you have to wait until its release on Google Play. It is predicted Google should launch it by the week’s end.
