YouTube is rolling out a new tool for creators to boost production on their Shorts posts. This important innovation promises to eliminate the need for a green screen (Chroma-Key) by using artificial intelligence to create backgrounds with just a few words.
A new feature called Dream Screen, available to YouTube Shorts users, will allow creators to create short videos easier and more creative. Here are the details
YouTube Shorts users cross the boundaries of creativity with Dream Screen
The new feature announced by YouTube was actually first introduced by the company in June this year. The function, which finally meets with users, will utilise artificial intelligence technology to create various background images that will serve as backgrounds for users, thus complementing videos from different directions.
Compared to the traditional green screen, you don’t need to buy any extra equipment to benefit from productive AI-generated images. As Google itself explained, this feature for YouTube Shorts is based on Veo, one of the latest AI models focused on video creation.
As expected, the new YouTube Shorts feature will work instantly according to the creator’s text commands. However, it should be noted that the feature is still in the testing phase, that is, it is only available to a small group of selected people on the platform for now. It is expected that this feature will be available to everyone very soon.
On the other hand, there are other restrictions regarding the new Dream Screen feature. For now, it is emphasised that this tool is only available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
So what do you think about the new artificial intelligence feature announced for YouTube Shorts users?
