Zuckerberg announced: AR glasses are replacing phones!

Ana sayfa / News

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg believes that augmented reality (AR) glasses will replace smartphones in the future. In an interview with The Verge, Zuckerberg talked about the Orion AR glasses that Meta has been working on for a long time, and was quite ambitious about the potential of this technology.

According to Zuckerberg, Orion glasses have two main features: hologram technology and artificial intelligence integration. These glasses allow users to place holograms around them, making them feel as if they are somewhere else.

For example, you will be able to open a virtual screen while sitting in a café and work with your colleagues from different places at the same time. On the other hand, the glasses give you feedback, guide you and make your daily life easier thanks to artificial intelligence.

However, this technology has yet to reach a large commercial audience. High production costs and some technical difficulties prevent Meta from launching this product immediately. Zuckerberg states that AR glasses need a little more time before they reach a price range that is easily accessible to everyone. But despite these challenges, Meta plans to offer the glasses to developers first and is working on more affordable models in the short term.

Zuckerberg also stated that the collaboration with Meta Ray-Bans will make this technology accessible to more people in the future. The glasses will become increasingly intelligent with AI integration, while also looking fashionable. According to Zuckerberg’s vision, in ten years we will be able to forget smartphones in our pockets and do everything with glasses.

So, do you think this technological transformation will come true? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
