Meta has introduced a major update for its artificial intelligence assistant Meta AI. Updated with the company’s artificial intelligence model Llama 3, Meta AI will now be available in many more countries. It will also adapt to social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Llama 3 based Meta AI officially introduced
Meta stated that it developed the chatbot with the new natural language model Llama 3. In this context, Meta AI has become accessible in many countries through the search path of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
The company has been conducting tests to place the chat bot in Instagram’s search bar for some time. With the Llama 3 update, it will be possible to use Meta AI across all of the company’s social media platforms. The company will also offer a chatbot feature via “meta.ai”.
Some of the features introduced with the Llama 3 update are noteworthy. For example, Meta AI will now show Google and Bing supported search results to user queries. Image creation time has also been significantly reduced. Meta AI can also convert images into GIFs in real time.
The company’s new goal is to integrate Meta AI into its platforms. The chatbot is also expected to be available on Meta Quest VR headsets.
While Meta AI is available in many countries, it is not yet available in Turkey. However, the company aims to improve its AI from user feedback ahead of the big launch.
