“Zuckerberg vs Musk” Fight: Threads Website Gets Forgotten!

Ana sayfa / News

It’s been a month since Meta’s Twitter rival platform, Threads, was launched. Many users signed up for the new platform when it surfaced at the beginning of July and started using it actively. However, the application has also caused a rift between Elon Musk and Threads’ founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Finally, some “significant” new features, like a web page, are coming to the application. Here are the details about the long-awaited Threads website and the new features it will bring.

Better late than never: It’s finally coming!

According to the latest information, these updates are confirmed by Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. The news reveals that Threads will soon get both a web version and an enhanced search feature, which is addressing some of the serious shortcomings of Meta’s newly launched platform. Currently, the only way to access Threads is through its mobile application; therefore, one of the most requested features by users is a web version that works on desktop platforms.

For some users, this might not be a problem, as they prefer accessing social media apps only on their phones and tablets. However, for others, it’s a significant issue. Having a web version accessible on all platforms is a great advantage for individuals working in social media management and content creation. It makes their tasks much easier.

Sony Xperia 1 V finally starts shipping in the US

Sony has finally started shipping its latest smartphone, Sony Xperia 1 V, in the US after its launch in May...

Since its release on July 6, 2023, Threads has been lacking this feature. The domain “www.threads.com” has been purchased, but accessing the address doesn’t yield any results. In the upcoming weeks, the platform will be accessible via the web, and along with that, an “advanced search” feature will also be added to the platform. Currently, users don’t have the ability to perform searches except for a few prominent accounts.

As for the Mac and iPad side of things, there haven’t been any developments for Threads yet. According to statements from one of the engineers at Meta, the team is working on making Threads compatible with iPadOS and MacOS platforms, but there are still some bugs in the applications, and the team hasn’t been able to focus on fixing them due to time constraints.

We don’t know when Meta will address these issues, but what we do know is that these problems have contributed to the significant user loss the platform experienced in the past weeks. So, what are your thoughts on the Threads website and the upcoming new features? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments section…
