Honor, working to increase its share in the smartphone market, is set to launch its GT model very soon. Although there haven’t been many reports about the device until now, this has recently changed. The launch date and some technical specifications of the model have now been revealed.
When will the Honor GT be introduced, and what will it offer?
Honor has announced that it will unveil its new GT series phone on December 16. While the official name has not been confirmed, sources speculate that the product will be called the Honor 100 GT. According to promotional posters, the model will feature a flat-edged design with a dual-tone back panel. It also showcases a rectangular rear camera module with two cameras and a dual-tone flash.
The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, coupled with a 1.5K OLED flat display and support for 100W fast wired charging. With these features, the device aims to compete with models like the Redmi K80, iQOO Neo 10, and Realme Neo 7.
According to Honor CEO Zhao Ming, the GT series will showcase unique and impressive design concepts tailored for the AI era. It is also emphasized that the series targets young users who want to experience the latest technologies.
