Vivo, continuing its efforts to expand its product range, is soon set to unveil the Vivo Y78t, which promises not to disappoint users with its technical specifications. While being a part of the Y78 series, recent reports reveal the key features of the device.
What will Vivo Y78t offer to users?
The upcoming Vivo Y78t has surfaced on the 3C database with the model number V2312BA. Although the listing doesn’t disclose all the features of the smartphone, it indicates support for 44W fast charging. Furthermore, according to sources close to the company, the device is said to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z8x, which was released in August.
It’s worth noting that rebranding is quite common among Chinese smartphone manufacturers. This involves releasing an existing phone with a changed name and design but with the same specifications. If these claims are accurate, the Vivo Y78t is likely to come with similar technical specifications as the iQOO Z8x.
The Vivo Y78t model will feature a 6.64-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and boast a 50-megapixel main camera.
The device will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The chipset, based on a 4nm architecture, hosts 4x 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and 4x 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with the Adreno 710 graphics unit. As of now, the exact release date for the smartphone is unknown, but rumors suggest it will hit the market towards the end of this year.
