Realme is gearing up to unveil its upcoming GT5 Pro model, and as the launch date approaches, there has been a notable increase in reports about the device.
Realme GT5 Pro will have Sony Lytia sensor
In the latest announcement, the Chinese brand revealed that the GT5 Pro will feature the Sony Lytia sensor, which is also expected to be used in the upcoming OnePlus 12. While the full name and details of the sensor have not been disclosed, previous leaks suggest that the smartphone will boast a triple camera module with 50 + 50 + 8 megapixels.
The GT5 Pro will sport a curved display on the front panel, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera will be positioned in the middle of the top part of the screen. Additionally, the device will have dimensions of 161.6×75.1×9.2 mm and a weight of 220 grams.
The smartphone is set to be powered by the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This 4nm architecture chipset includes one 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 core, three 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, two 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, and two 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The new chipset from Qualcomm also incorporates the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
The device will be equipped with a 5,400 mAh battery and will support 240W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging technologies. Moreover, the product is expected to run on Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
According to past leaks, the model is anticipated to feature a curved AMOLED panel produced by BOE with a 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The phone will include a metal mid-frame and be resistant to dust and water. Additionally, the display will support 10-bit color.
Xu Qi Chase, Realme’s Chief Marketing Officer in China, has shared pricing details for the upcoming Realme GT5 Pro. The smartphone will be available in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 24GB + 1TB, priced at $411, $452, and $507, respectively. Finally, it’s worth noting that the device is expected to be unveiled before the end of the month.
