iQOO 12 technical specifications revealed
Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks in the industry, shared the technical specifications of the upcoming iQOO 12 model. According to the information, the smartphone will feature a Samsung E7 AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This chipset will offer significant performance improvements, with a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.7GHz. Changes are expected in the core architecture of the processor.
The current top-tier chipset used today, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, features the Cortex-X3 architecture and operates at 3.2 GHz. This means that the new processor is expected to have a direct impact on daily performance. Additionally, the new processor is expected to have a 1+5+2 architecture, with one “super-large” core, five “large” cores, and two “small” cores.
The iQOO 12 will have a metal body and support 200W fast charging. It will be available with RAM options of up to 16GB and storage options ranging from 512GB to 1TB, using UFS 4.0 technology. Additionally, the device will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C 3.x port. It will also come with a 50-megapixel main camera sensor (OV50H).
The iQOO 12 is expected to be unveiled in December and is expected to run the Origin OS 4.0 interface based on Android 14 right out of the box.
