POCO, an independent brand of Xiaomi, is working to expand its popular X series, which is frequently chosen in Turkey and has achieved significant sales figures. The company has recently launched the X4 Pro 5G model, and is now developing new models for the X series. Recently, new information has come to light about the upcoming POCO X5 series.
What will the POCO X5 series offer users?
The upcoming POCO X5 series was revealed in the TDRA database with the model numbers 22101320G and 22111317PG, which indicates that the phones will be introduced very soon. According to this, the standard model of the series will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 5G, which was introduced a few months ago. However, it’s important to note that the smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 695, unlike the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in the Redmi.
The device will have a 6.67-inch 120 Hz refresh rate FHD+ resolution AMOLED panel. In addition, users will be offered up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, a 33W charged 5,000 mAh battery, a 48-megapixel dual camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. Finally, aside from the processor, it is expected that the product will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 5G.
In the Pro version of the series, which will have high-end features, it is said that the Snapdragon 778G 5G will be used. Additionally, a 6.67-inch 120 Hz refresh rate FHD+ resolution AMOLED panel will be present in the device. Lastly, it will feature 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of internal storage, a 67W charged 5,000 mAh battery, a 108-megapixel triple camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera. The release date for the devices is not yet known, but according to sources close to the company, they will soon be on display.
