All rumors about the expected flagship series claim the same thing, that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have bigger physical buttons. Moreover, the same leaker claimed that the tech giant will launch the basic and Plus models with these buttons.

The capacitive buttons will work as the trackpad on MacBooks, and the Taptic Engines will provide haptic feedback. Also, these buttons will give users the impression that they’re pressing buttons even though they don’t. The leaks say, “Volume can be controlled by swiping/sliding a finger up or down on the volume capacitive rocker.”

ShrimpApplePro posted on Twitter the CAD files of the iPhone 15 series that show the buttons, design, and more. According to the leaks, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will have the capacitive buttons. However, the basic version will have solid state buttons but not the conjoined volume buttons, with the old mute switch.
