Polestar, the car brand born from the partnership of Geely and Volvo, will soon make a sound with Polestar 4. Polestar will come out with the new car model Polestar 4 on 18 April, according to the official statement made. The company shared the date for the vehicle with the official image above. The company explains that the fully electric “coupe-crossover” model will be the fastest vehicle they have ever produced.

Polestar 4 will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18th

The vehicle, which will be slightly smaller than the Polestar 3, will,bring a range of up to 600 km depending on the version. Polestar 4 will be built on two different bases, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Specifically, the vehicle will make a noise within the scope of the Shanghai Motor Show. Polestar will unveil its third all-electric vehicle, the Polestar 4, at the Shanghai auto show on April 18, 2023.

Besides the Polestar 4, visitors to the Shanghai auto show will be able to glance at the Polestar 3. Also, the recently updated Polestar 2, making its first public appearance in China. The company’s Polestar 5 model will be taken to the roads in 2024, as rumored. Also, Polestar 3 is expected to go on sale in the last quarter of 2023.

The previous vehicle from the company was the new Polestar 2. In order to go over briefly, the vehicle, whose sales exceeded 100 thousand in late 2022, brings significant changes with its new version with the 2024 model year. The electric car now transfers the 299 horsepower obtained with the new engine infrastructure to the rear tires, not the front.

The vehicle is 68 horsepower more powerful than the model it replaces, reducing the 0-100 km/h sprint by 1 second to 5.9 seconds. The most significant design change compared to the previous version is the front grille design called SmartZone. It brings together equipment such as radar, accelerometer, ultrasonic sensors and camera in its closed structure.
