Watch more than 800 free TV channels with Google TV
Google’s popular streaming service, Google TV, has a large content library than ever. The company announced on its blog that it is introducing a new live TV experience that offers more than 800 TV channels across multiple providers, including Tubi, Plex, Haystack News, and Pluto TV, for free. Additionally, the streaming service launches free built-in channels that you can watch without downloading or launching an app.
The tech company says, “In total, you can now browse over 800 channels and premium programming, including news channels from NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX. You can also tune in to channels from around the world, with programming in more than 10 languages including Spanish, Hindi, and Japanese.”
It adds, “From breaking news to blockbuster movies and everything in between, there’s something for everyone. And with no subscriptions or fees, it’s never been easier to jump in and start watching.” Google TV points out that you can use the Live tab to see all your live channels in one place. If you have a premium live TV subscription from YouTube TV or Sling TV, you will have access to all these in one section.
On the announcements, we can see that the new live Google TV feature will be available over the next few weeks on all Google TV devices in the U.S., including Chromecast with Google TV and TVs with Google TV built-in from Sony, TCL, Hisense, and Philips. It means that the popular streaming service is becoming more like a cable with all those content and easy access.
