Sophie Holland, the casting director of The Witcher, stated in an interview, “We are about to start filming the fourth season with Liam Hemsworth, and there will be a short break, then we will directly move on to the fifth season.”
With this statement about Liam Hemsworth joining the series, Sophie Holland not only confirmed his involvement but also officially announced that The Witcher would continue for at least two more seasons. This also means that the new seasons have been approved by Netflix.
The exact start date for filming the fourth season is currently unknown, but according to the director’s statement, it will begin soon. It is estimated that there will be a waiting period of a few years between seasons.
