Google has made a significant update to the Chrome app for mobile users. With the new update, Chrome, which gains four new features, is preparing to enhance the user experience on mobile devices.
Google Chrome introduces 4 new features
With the update, Google Chrome will now provide search suggestions every time you tap on the address bar on certain websites. For instance, if you are reading an article about Japan, you will see search suggestions like a to-do list in Japan.
When you tap on the URL of the mentioned article, you will find various search suggestions, from local tourist spots to restaurants, listed below. This feature can be quite useful at times and will be available for both iOS and Android.
Another notable addition to Google Chrome is the sharing of a list of trending Google searches for the day. By tapping on the address bar on a new tab, you can view this list. Initially, this feature will only be available on Android devices, but it will eventually be introduced to iOS devices as well.
While browsing the internet, another update allows a section to appear at the bottom of the page, quickly providing information on the scanned text. This feature, called ‘Touch and Search,’ is currently only available on Android devices, and it’s worth mentioning that users can disable it if they prefer.
The latest update from Google Chrome is specifically for iOS devices. When performing searches in the Chrome address bar on iOS devices, users will now see 10 suggestions instead of 6. Android devices already have this feature, and with the new update, iOS devices now have access to it as well.
