Marvel’s Fantastic Four is back. The series, which will return to the Marvel universe with brand new faces, is scheduled to meet its audience on May 2, 2025. However, it is unlikely to meet the planned date on the calendar. Marvel has also yet to announce the cast of the new Fantastic Four. But Jeff Sneider has a name in mind for Doctor Doom. Here are the details…
Marvel has chosen Doctor Doom for the new Fantastic Four!
It’s not just the four superheroes we’re curious about in the Fantastic Four cast. We also want to know who will play the villains of this first movie and who the villains will be. Avengers: Secret Wars, Doctor Doom seems to be the main antagonist of the story.
But most of the rumors about the Fantastic Four storyline suggest that Doctor Doom is not the main villain of the movie. Instead, the anti-hero may have a minor role. The main villains of Fantastic Four are speculated to be Galacturs and the Silver Surfer. As a result of this analysis, fans won’t be surprised if Doctor Doom only appears in the credits.
Jeff Sneider said on Thursday’s The Hot Mic podcast that he heard that Marvel is considering Josh Hartnett for the role of Doctor Doom. Josh Hartnett played Ernest Lawrence in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. The actor, who has not been seen much in big blockbusters lately, became one of the prominent stars of Oppenheimer. Rising star Josh Hartnett could be perfect for the new version of Doctor Doom.
Sneider also gave additional details about the various actors Marvel is considering for the Fantastic Four. Among these additional details is that Vanessa Kirby will be in the cast for Sue Storm. This seems to be confirmed. Also, Marvel may be filming the Fantastic Four around the Invisible Woman.
Marvel will only announce the Fantastic Four cast after the strike is over. Also, Marvel may not be able to get the new franchise out in time for 2025. Surely it has enough time to shoot the movie and put it in theaters on time. But it’s unclear when the writers and actors will end their strike. And with so many projects on the calendar waiting to be released, the new Fantastic Four will have to wait its turn.
