Nokia G42 5G is on sale in India
Nokia’s new budget-friendly model G42 5G with Snapdragon 480 is now on sale in India. Moreover, at a very affordable price of 12,600 Rupees (150 dollars). The features of the phone are as follows:
The Nokia G42 5G features a 6.56-inch LCD display with a drop notch and a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+). The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness level of 450 nits.
Inside, the Nokia G42 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor and a 5,000 mAh battery. The back panel is made of 65% recycled plastic and comes with a 20W charger, a cable and a case. Nokia didn’t skimp on the camera either. The phone has a triple camera system consisting of a 50 Megapixel primary sensor, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP lens for selfies and video calls.
In addition to 5G, the device supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS and USB Type-C. Other features include a 3.5mm jack input, a MicroSD card slot and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone runs Android 13 and is guaranteed to receive two Android OS updates and three years of security updates.
The Nokia G42 5G with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage has been launched in India (now Bharat) with a price tag of $150. The device is available in purple and gray color options.
