OnePlus continues its efforts to increase its market share in the tablet sector. The Chinese company entered the market a few months ago with the Pad model and is now expanding its product range by launching the Pad Go without much delay. The release date for the tablet has recently been revealed.

Until now, the common point in the rumors that have emerged is that the OnePlus Pad Go model will be released in January 2024. It was even claimed that the device would be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 12 and 12R. However, the latest development contradicts these claims.

The tablet was recently listed on the famous e-commerce platform Flipkart. With this development, it became apparent that the release date of the tablet is not in January but in the first week of October. Although there is no specific detail regarding the date at the moment, sources close to the company are leaning towards October 4th.

OnePlus recently shared the design of the upcoming Pad Go model on social media. According to this, the tablet bears a significant resemblance to the standard Pad in terms of design. The most important change here is the division of the rear panel into two parts, one matte and one glossy. Other details such as a single camera placed in the upper middle part and thin bezels, which were present in the previous model, are also present in this product.

As of now, there isn’t much technical specification detail available about what kind of user experience the OnePlus Pad Go will offer. Rumors suggest that the tablet will be a few notches lower in terms of specs compared to the OnePlus Pad, but it will be focused on delivering good value for the price. It is even rumored to have a 2K resolution display with a 7:5 aspect ratio.
