Elon Musk has been making interesting events and revelations for years. A new biography of the Tesla and SpaceX CEO reveals that he stormed developer CD Project Red’s office “at gunpoint” to play in Cyberpunk 2077.
Elon Musk forced to join the Cyberpunk 2077
The book, penned by Walter Isaacson, added to Musk’s unusual daily behavior. According to a story in the book, Musk raided CD Project Red, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, with his girlfriend Grimes. Armed with a 200-year-old pistol, the billionaire wanted to join the game’s cast.
For those who don’t know, Grimes voices the cyborg singer Lizzy Wizzy in the game. Grimes, who went to the company studio for the voiceover, faced an unexpected event. Musk, who entered the studio with an old gun, insisted that she be included in the game, saying it was not dangerous.
The developer had to accept this. At Musk’s request, a mission was added for Lizzy Wizzy that was not included in the game script. In this mission, it is possible to see a character that looks like Musk for a short time and even “throw it in the trash” within the scope of the mission.
It is not known whether Musk actually pressured to be included in the game. However, it should not be forgotten that he has praised Cyberpunk 2077 many times before and even tweeted with a 200-year-old gun.
CD Projekt Red is currently working on Cyberpunk 2077’s free 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty pack. The 2.0 update will be available on September 21st on all platforms. This free pack will bring extensive changes and graphical improvements to the game.
