Xiaomi continues its efforts on Android 14 and MIUI 15 versions without slowing down, and the distribution process is set to begin soon. While there is much curiosity about which devices will receive the latest versions during this process, a recent report reveals that two models will not get the new Android build.
Xiaomi will not give the Android 14 update to two models
According to the latest report from Xiaomiui, the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro models, released in 2021, will not receive the Android 14 update. In this context, it is highly likely that the tablets will receive the MIUI 15 version based on Android 13. This means that even though they will experience the latest MIUI 15 version, their Android structures will remain the same.
The key expected features in MIUI 15 are as follows:
- More customization options.
- A minimalist look based on the Google Material You interface.
- Improved battery life, faster app installation, and smoother animations compared to MIUI 14.
- HDR game support, haptic feedback, and a special turbo mode for games.
- Enhanced features in native applications such as File Manager, note-taking app, and screen recorder for productivity tools.
- Privacy features such as the Privacy Dashboard, data access controls, and malware scanning.
Here is the list of expected updates for various Xiaomi, POCO, and Redmi models. Please note that this is unofficial information, and the list may change.
