Recently, we have seen many Chinese smartphone manufacturers developing “rugged” devices. A new one has been added to these MIL-STD-810 certified phones that meet the US military’s durability standards. Chinese manufacturer Oukitel introduced the dual-screen WP30 Pro model.
What does the dual-screen Oukitel WP30 Pro offer?
The Oukitel WP30 Pro aims to be one of the most robust and long-lasting Android smartphones on the market. It features a 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ 120Hz display and another screen on the back, surrounded by a triple camera module and flash. The rear screen can be used as a viewfinder, showing notifications, battery status and more.
The device is powered by the Dimensity 8050 chipset and comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. WP30 Pro, which comes with Android 13 out of the box, is also unexpectedly successful on the camera side. Accordingly, in addition to the 108 Megapixel main camera, there are 20 Megapixel night vision and 5 Megapixel macro sensors.
However, the most striking point of the device is its durability. WP30 Pro, which has IP68 and IP69K certificates for water/dust/pressure, also supports MIL-STD-810H.
It is powered by an 11 thousand mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Oukitel claims it can be 50 percent charged in just 15 minutes.
The Chinese manufacturer will launch the WP30 Pro next month. Oukitel WP30 Pro, which will be offered first in China, starts at 330 dollars.
