Apple held its Scary Fast event at midnight Turkey time. A number of new products took the stage, and the M3 Pro processors that will power MacBook Pros stood out. Here is the first information about the processor…
M3 Pro features
The new M3 Pro processor features a 12-core CPU with 6 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores and an 18-core GPU array of 37 billion transistors. On the other hand, the processor that will power the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models is also stated to have an option with a 14-core CPU (8 performance and 6 efficiency) and a 20-core GPU.
On the other hand, unified memory support up to 36 GB allows users to realize larger projects on the MacBook Pro while on the go. The 12-core CPU design includes six performance cores and six productivity cores.
Finally, the processor delivers up to 30 percent faster single-threaded performance than the M1 Pro. With the M3 Pro in the new MacBook Pro, things like merging and manipulating huge panoramic photos in Adobe Photoshop are faster than ever.
