Realme’s next flagship model, the Realme GT 5 Pro, is set to be unveiled in a few days. According to the official announcement made earlier, the smartphone will be available to users on December 7th. With the rapidly approaching launch date, there has been a significant increase in leaks and official shares by the Chinese company. Most recently, it has been revealed how many years of Android updates the smartphone will receive.

How many years will Realme GT 5 Pro receive Android updates?

The Realme GT 5 Pro will be the first smartphone to run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, as per the official statement. The Chinese company promises three major Android updates and four years of security updates for the device. This means that the upcoming flagship model will experience new Android versions, including Android 17.

The smartphone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, manufactured with a 4nm architecture. The chipset includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chipset also incorporates the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
