Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 family as part of the event it held recently. Except for the S24 Ultra, other models in the series are powered by Exynos 2400. Latest performance tests showed that Exynos 2400 may be stronger than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Exynos 2400 beats Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in stress test
Exynos 2400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3; It was subjected to the 3DMark Solar Bay Stress Test, which pushes the CPU and GPU to their limits. Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400 chipset has surprising results in terms of thermal performance.
Stress test results revealed that Exynos 2400 maintains its performance better than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. As it warmed up, it could use 64 percent of its full capacity, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 could only maintain 48 percent performance.
It was stated that the stress tests were performed between the Galaxy S24 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Galaxy S24 Plus with Exynos 2400. Despite having nearly twice the vapor chamber cooling of the S23 Ultra, the Plus’ thermal performance fared better.
On the other hand, the Exynos 2400 scored twice as high as the Exynos 2200 in the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme test a while ago, putting it on par with the Apple A17 Pro. Temperature management looks set to enable Samsung to remain competitive in the global chip market.
