Why you shouldn’t get excited about Apple Vision Pro?

Apple Vision Pro will not support some entertainment platforms such as YouTube. Here are the details...

Vision Pro, Apple’s first mixed reality glasses, which was introduced at the WWDC 2023 event, opened for pre-orders in the last hours. However, recent statements from some companies seem to be dampening interest in the device.

The price of the Apple Vision Pro 256GB / 512GB / 1TB options was set at $3,499 / $3,699 / $3,899 respectively. Of course, since these prices are not very low, people want to get full performance from the device. But it seems that the glasses will have significant shortcomings.

YouTube, Netflix and Spotify announced that they will not develop a special application for Apple Vision Pro. This means that these platforms will only be accessible through the browser. However, it is very likely that the browser access will offer a poorer experience compared to the app.
