First info for the Xiaomi 15 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has arrived!
Xiaomi 14 family, which was introduced to users last year, managed to receive positive feedback from users. In fact, it is possible that an Ultra model will be added to the series at the end of this month or in the coming months. Of course, with the completion of the work for the series, work for the Xiaomi 15 series also started. So, what will the Xiaomi 15 family offer to users, and when can it be introduced?
Xiaomi 15 series features and potential launch date
Smart Pikachu, which stands out in the industry with its leaks, revealed new technical details about the upcoming Xiaomi 15 family. Accordingly, an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner will be available in Pro and Ultra models. There is currently no information about the standard model. We will probably see an optical under-screen fingerprint reader on this device.
According to past reports, the mass production process of the Xiaomi 15 series will start in September. This means the phones will be introduced sometime between October and December. As you may remember, the Xiaomi 14 series was showcased in October. Therefore, it is possible to say that October is more important for the launch.
The processor that will power the series will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Although there are no details about the chipset, we can easily say that it will be more performant and efficient than the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
