The design of Google’s new foldable phone has been revealed!
Google continues its work in the foldable phone business. In this context, it is reported that the brand is working on the sequel model of Pixel Fold, which was introduced at last year’s I/O 2023. The latest report shared by Android Authority reveals the design of the Google Pixel Fold 2 model. Accordingly, the foldable phone will have a slightly narrow structure. A square and protruding camera installation will greet us on the back panel of the device, which is expected to have a screen-to-frame ratio in line with industry standards.
According to information from sources close to the company, the Tensor G 4 processor will be used in the Google Pixel Fold 2 model. Here, we see that Tensor G2 was used in the previous Pixel Fold model, and the company decided to skip G3 for an undisclosed reason.
A similar situation applies to RAM capacities. As it is known, the standard Google Pixel Fold had a maximum of 12 GB of memory. However, according to reports, the new model will have RAM options up to 16 GB. Finally, let us state that it will have UFS 4.0 technology.
The launch date of Google Pixel Fold 2 is not clear at the moment. However, according to sources, it will be released in October, not May, unlike its predecessor.
