Xiaomi SU7 parts on sale?
The first car to go on sale under the Xiaomi Auto brand will be unveiled at a launch event in China on March 28. Although the event has created great excitement and anticipation in the industry, leaks from the SU7 continue to come. Finally, some parts labeled Xiaomi and SU7 have landed on second-hand platforms.
Various steering wheels, brake calipers, brake pedals, brake pedals, taillights allegedly belonging to Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle went on sale online. Sellers claimed that these parts were original and had been removed from test vehicles. However, many parts, especially the steering wheels, appear to be worn.
The quality of the taillights shared on second-hand platforms also arouses suspicion. It was noticed that some of the lamps have partially factory window film. While it is unclear where these parts came from, it raised suspicions of leaks before the official launch.
While 59 stores in 28 cities in China are preparing for orders, the latest announcement revealed that the demand for the vehicle is great. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared that more than 100,000 people came to the stores within a day after the sales date announcement and wanted to make a reservation for the SU7.
