Tesla, the pioneer of the electric car revolution, continues to excite, albeit not as dominantly in the market as before. In this regard, the fastest and quickest accelerating Tesla, the Model S Plaid, is now accompanied by a fitting new racing seat update.
New racing seats for Tesla Model S Plaid
The Model S Plaid, the fastest Tesla, has started to add racing seats to all models produced after April 1, 2024. Inspired by race tracks, the seats are predominantly white with black stripes.
The sides of the Model seats are also inspired by motorsports. With increased lateral support, the seats promise a more comfortable driving experience. Tesla has upholstered the new model’s racing seats with a special suede fabric. Thanks to this fabric, the racing seats have become lighter. Additionally, the seats provide better grip for the driver during driving.
The car is both the fastest and quickest accelerating Tesla model. In this regard, a user managed to push Tesla’s new car to speeds of up to 328 km/h. Also, in user tests, the model achieved a 0-100 km acceleration time of around 1.9 seconds. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time for the car is stated to be 2.1 seconds. Tesla has also announced a maximum speed of 322 km/h for the car.
The new seats will be available as standard without any additional charge. What do you think about the new racing seats for Tesla’s new model? We await your comments.
