At Computex 2024, ASUS introduced its new ProArt PC series targeting professionals. This series includes three different devices: ProArt P16, PX13, and PZ13. Each comes in different form factors and these AI-supported, OLED screen machines are also ideal for creative work. Here are all the details about the new series…
ASUS introduces two-in-one ProArt PCs! Here are the features
First, let’s start with the ProArt P16. This device is a traditional laptop ideal for content creators. It offers a stunning screen experience with a 4K OLED panel, although it only has a 60Hz refresh rate. For editors, it provides Pantone validation and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, so you won’t have to worry about color accuracy.
In terms of performance, the P16 is equipped with AMD’s new Ryzen 9 AI 300 processors (also known as “Strix Point”) and can operate up to 70 watts. This provides 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) NPU performance for AI operations in Copilot+ PCs. Additionally, this laptop can support the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU up to 105 watts. With up to 64GB of memory and 4TB of storage capacity, the P16 is a perfect choice for your creative work.
Physically, the P16 might seem quite simple, but it also offers pleasant surprises. It is only 0.58 inches thick and weighs 1,800 grams. ASUS has transformed the physical dial seen in previous ProArt PC models into a digital DialPad placed in the top left corner of the touchpad.
The ProArt PX13 is a convertible laptop with a 13.3-inch screen. It is a portable yet powerful option for creative professionals. It is only 0.62 inches thick and weighs 1,360 grams. The digital DialPad is also present here, enhancing its usability despite its compact size.
The PX13 comes with a 3K OLED panel and the same Pantone validated color coverage. Connectivity options include a USB Type-A, two USB Type-C ports, and a microSD card slot. It also supports Wi-Fi 7. Internally, it features AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 processors and the RTX 4070 GPU. This device supports up to 32GB of memory and 2TB of SSD storage.
Finally, let’s discuss the ASUS ProArt PZ13. This device is similar to a Surface tablet and is designed with complete portability in mind. It comes with a 13-inch 3K OLED screen and a magnetic keyboard. It is only 0.35 inches thick and weighs 850 grams. This device is Qualcomm Snapdragon X based and limited to 20 watts TDP. Although it does not have a separate GPU, it still offers 45 TOPS performance, qualifying it as a Copilot+ PC.
The PZ13 comes with two USB Type-C ports, an SD card reader, and Wi-Fi 7 support. Its compact and durable structure makes it an ideal choice for creative professionals who are constantly on the move. The P16 is for those who want a large screen and high performance, while the PX13 is for those who want portability and power. What do you think about these devices?
