Huawei HarmonyOS PC interface leaked
A post on Huawei’s developer website reveals how the operating system will look on a computer. At first glance, it is possible to say that the interface on tablets has expanded to larger screens.
The user interface on the developer page has a minimal look designed for larger screens. The status bar at the top shows basic information, while the menu bar at the bottom will host frequently used applications and services.
It will be optimized for controls and usability in apps like maps, music, social media, photography. The revamped design seems to emphasize immersion across different device sizes. The File Explorer and Weather apps also seem to blend together.
It is also possible to say that the leaked user interface will be compatible with both smartphones and tablets. HarmonyOS PC, which is similar to the macOS interface in terms of design, seems to focus on making the most of the large screen space.
Although not officially confirmed by Huawei, sources say that HarmonyOS may be released for computers with the Mate 70 series later this year. We expect more details to be released with HarmonyOS NEXT.
