Santa Monica Studios, the producer of the God of War series, may be working on a new series. One of the company executives, Glauco Longhi, stated on his LinkedIn profile that the studio is looking at new ideas.

Glauco Longhi shared that he is looking at different projects after God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök. He emphasized that they could work with other Sony studios such as Striking Distance and Unknown Worlds.
According to Longhi, the new series will be Santa Monica Studio’s first new project since God of War. Longhi was also instrumental in the creation of the Kratos character. Therefore, it seems that the new series will also include a deep storytelling.

Of course, it should be noted that the new project has not been officially announced. Even though there is a statement from an important name, it is still at the idea stage. However, we can expect a cinematic story and a character-driven action game.
On the other hand, God of War Ragnarök will be released for PC in September. With this release, Ragnarök will follow in the footsteps of other Sony games like Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima.
