Normally, Steam account levels are gained by playing games and earning badges. However, users can also speed up the process by purchasing badges from the platform’s marketplace.
Although high account levels offer no practical benefits to users, some wealthy individuals have started spending thousands of dollars to showcase their superiority. The previous record was held by CS skin collector ST4CK, who was banned in 2023. However, a new challenger named Stasik has surpassed him by almost 1000 levels, claiming the record solo.

The situation was first reported by the publisher ohnePixel, who found not only expensive skins but also stickers with racist slurs on Stasik’s account.
