Mark Gurman, known for his significant leaks regarding Apple’s It’s Glowtime event, had mentioned earlier today that Apple would announce a black color option for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 instead of the Ultra 3. The rumors proved to be true, and the black color option for the Ultra 2 has been announced.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 is now available in black!
One of the biggest tech events of the year, Apple Glowtime, showcased not only flagship devices such as the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max but also the announcement of Apple’s new generation wearable devices and headphones. Although Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 10, it did not unveil the Apple Watch Ultra 3, but instead introduced a black color option for the Ultra 2.
Last year, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had stated that the Ultra 3 would not be announced this year. Earlier today, another renowned analyst, Mark Gurman, had mentioned via his official X account that a black color option for the Watch 2 Ultra was expected instead of the Watch 3 Ultra. The rumors turned out to be true, and the black Watch 2 Ultra, referred to as Satin Black, has officially been revealed.
According to Apple’s announcement, the device is now available for pre-order at a price of $799 and will be available to customers in October.
