BYD Denza Z9 GT to be Unveiled on September 20
BYD aims to increase its market share with both luxury and regular class cars. With the Z9 GT, which features a sporty appearance and a premium wagon design under its luxury brand, the company will address expectations at the launch event scheduled for September 20.
The Denza Z9 GT, with its 2-liter turbocharged engine and three electric motors, produces 640 kW (858 horsepower), making it one of the most powerful hybrid vehicles on the market. Despite its powerful engine, the vehicle offers a range of 1100 km and consumes 5.6 liters of fuel per 100 km when using gasoline only.
The fully electric (BEV) version of the Denza Z9 GT will be even more powerful than the hybrid model. Equipped with three electric motors, it produces 710 kW (952 horsepower), offers a range of 630 km, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The hybrid version can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 3.6 seconds.
Currently, the vehicle is available for pre-order in five different trims for Chinese customers, with deliveries expected by the end of September. The starting price for the BYD Denza Z9 GT is approximately €43,000, reaching up to €53,200. It is also expected to enter the European market.
