On the vivo front, which continues its work in the smartphone business, a new entry-level model is being added every day. Recent reports reveal that the Chinese manufacturer is working on a model called the vivo Y04.
vivo Y04 spotted in the IMEI database
The vivo Y04 has appeared in the IMEI database with the model number V2430. Although this development does not confirm the smartphone’s specifications or release date, it provides important clues that users won’t have to wait long.
The smartphone is expected to be the successor to the vivo Y03, introduced earlier this year. As known, the Y03 featured a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It was powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor.
The Y03 offered 4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage options, with support for a 1TB microSD card for those looking to expand storage. Additionally, it was powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
As for the vivo Y04, its features are still unknown. However, considering what its predecessor offered, we can expect it to come with minor improvements. Lastly, reliable industry sources suggest it will be introduced later this year.
