Steam shared the most used operating systems for October. In this regard, Windows 11 saw an increase of 4.28% compared to September, raising its market share to 51.97%, placing it at the top of the list.
On the second spot is Windows 10, which experienced a decline of 2.78% compared to September, with a market share of 45.95%. Meanwhile, Windows 7, which once dominated the market but has recently lost support for updates, recorded a market share of only 0.23% after a slight decrease of 0.08% last month.

An internet connection is also necessary for updates and to access certain features across all Windows 11 versions.
