Samsung continues to work on expanding its product lineup, and the South Korean brand is set to introduce the Galaxy A26 very soon. Recent reports reveal the design and key features of the upcoming phone.
What will the Galaxy A26 look like, and what will it offer?
Looking at the leaked images of the Galaxy A26, it’s clear that Samsung has made some updates to the camera design it has used for a while. With this change, the sensors will no longer be placed individually within circles but instead arranged vertically in a strip-like design.
Other than that, there doesn’t appear to be any major design changes compared to previous models. It still features a teardrop notch on the front, a staple for entry-level models, and bezels of thickness that align with industry standards.
The Galaxy A26 will come with 6 GB of RAM, though other options may be available. Under the hood, it will feature Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 processor. Built on a 5nm architecture, the chipset includes 2x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 cores, 6x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G68 GPU.
These are all the details revealed so far about the model. However, the features of its predecessor, the Galaxy A25, could offer some clues. Last year’s device included a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Additionally, it had a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Although it’s not certain, the Galaxy A26 may come with minor improvements or similar specifications compared to the A25. These are just speculations, and new reports in the coming months will likely answer any lingering questions.
