YouTube has reintroduced a long-unseen tool with the latest version of its iOS app. With the arrival of the update, Apple system users will once again be able to share videos stored in the gallery directly on the video platform. Here are the details
YouTube has reintroduced that ‘missed’ feature
Until 2018, YouTube allowed Apple system users to upload videos to the service directly from Photos or any other video application. However, without any explanation, it removed this possibility and limited uploads to its own app.
Now, the app has reintroduced this long-awaited feature to users without any explanation. Although the recently released latest version of the application (19.47.7) does not mention the return of this function, users have confirmed that they have regained access to that old feature.
With the new update to iOS, users will be able to upload videos directly to the platform from the gallery or any other application using the share with YouTube option and publish their videos on YouTube Shorts.
This innovation saves time for content creators and allows them to share their videos quickly and practically. On the other hand, users will have a smoother experience during the video upload process, while achieving a smoother use thanks to the integration in the in-app interface.
