While Samsung is actively conducting beta tests for One UI 7, it continues to roll out security patches to enhance user protection. Most recently, the South Korean brand released the December 2024 update for three popular devices.
December 2024 Update Now Available for Samsung Galaxy S23
The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are the latest models to receive the December 2024 update. With build numbers S911U1UEU5CXJR, S916U1UEU5CXJR, and S918U1UEU5CXJR, the patch is initially available for U.S. variants. However, it is expected to roll out to other regions in the coming days.
This update addresses security vulnerabilities and enhances system stability for the Galaxy S23 series. It is approximately 480 MB in size.
If the update notification has not appeared automatically on your device, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is still unavailable, it may not have reached your region yet, so you may need to wait a little longer.
