Details in the ZTE database have revealed that the company will soon announce a new device, the Nubia Focus 2 5G. The device is codenamed “Z2462N” and will be the successor to the Nubia Focus 5G announced in the second quarter of this year. The latest documents reveal the device’s sleek design. Here are the details
What will Nubia Focus 2 5G look like?
The Nubia Focus 5G model launched this year is an affordable device with a 108-megapixel camera, 5,000 mAh battery and 33W charging. The device also has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display and the Nubia Focus Pro 5G version, a model that upgrades the HD+ resolution to 6.72 inches and Full HD+, includes optical image stabilization and a 5-inch ultra-wide lens.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the Nubia Focus 2 5G are unknown. But certification documents in the EU Declaration of Conformity include a low-resolution photo of the phone, revealing its design.
According to the leaked photo, the cell phone appears to have three lenses. Interestingly, the Nubia Focus 5G only had two camera lenses. These lenses appeared to be a 108-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. Allegedly, the successor will also feature an ultra-wide sensor.
We also came across a Wi-Fi certificate that lists the operating system as “Android V”, the codename for Vanilla Ice Cream and the nickname for Android 15. It confirms support for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands in addition to Wi-Fi.
The Nubia Focus 2 5G will have up-to-date connectivity, just like the first Focus. However, a previous leak suggests that ZTE is also preparing a 4G version of the device and is not expected to launch a Pro version this year.
