There are many ways to raise the difficulty level in gaming, but one player has set the bar remarkably high. With the release of the new Monster Hunter Wilds just around the corner, a gamer named Aaron Callaway managed to complete the previous title, Monster Hunter: World, entirely weaponless and using only the ‘Hadouken’ move (known as “aduket” in some countries). Here are the details…
Is it Possible to Beat Monster Hunter: World with Only Hadouken?
Callaway showcased his feat in a detailed video on YouTube, demonstrating how he completed the game using only emotes. His primary weapon of choice was the Hadouken emote from the Street Fighter series, famously known as “aduket.” He also experimented with the Shoryuken emote and the gun emote inspired by Devil May Cry. However, Shoryuken consumed too much stamina, and the gun emote wasn’t effective enough, leading him to rely solely on Hadouken.
Using this method, a single Hadouken hit deals a maximum of 13 damage. Despite this limitation, Callaway managed to overcome the game’s challenges through approximately three-hour gaming sessions. However, all this effort didn’t yield any special rewards, achievements, or trophies for this unique playstyle.
Aaron Callaway’s unconventional accomplishment has inspired players eagerly awaiting the release of Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom has announced an open beta for the new game, set to run over two weekends in February.
During the first beta last fall, Monster Hunter Wilds attracted 500,000 players, and feedback from those tests has helped refine the game. However, these improvements won’t be evident in February’s second beta but will instead be part of the full release on February 28.
