An exciting new feature is on the way for Baldur’s Gate 3 players. According to a community update shared by Larian Studios, the game’s next major update, Patch 8, will come with photo mode support. Here are the details about this new feature and what you need to know…
What does photo mode offer?
According to Larian Studios, Baldur’s Gate 3’s photo mode will allow players to position characters as they wish, change facial expressions and play with camera settings. Various customisation options will also be available, such as lens effects, colour filters, frames and stickers. However, there are some limitations: You won’t be able to change the camera angle in dialogue scenes and cinematics, but you will still be able to customise scenes with effects and filter settings.

More updates for Baldur’s Gate 3 are on the way!
Apart from the photo mode, Patch 8 will add cross-platform support and 12 new subclasses. Larian wants players to be involved in the process while continuing cross-platform testing before the update. The update also includes various bug fixes: For example, bugs that caused some objects to cover the face of a dwarf named Barcus have been fixed, and Minthara’s dying when stunned in the game has been addressed.
With these features offered by Larian, the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting deeper. What do you think about this innovation? Do you think the photo mode will attract players? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments!
