Oppo Find N5’s Wireless Charging Support Officially Confirmed!
The Oppo Find N5, set to make a mark in the foldable phone market, has officially confirmed that it will offer wireless charging support with its latest announcements. Expected to be unveiled in February, the device stands out not only with its thickness of just 9.2 mm but also by offering 50W wireless charging, making waves in the tech world.
Oppo Find N5 Comes with Ultra-Thin Charging Coil
Unlike the previous model, the Find N5 will be the first Oppo foldable phone to support wireless charging. The device features Oppo’s specially developed 0.18 mm thick ultra-thin charging coil, allowing for high-speed wireless charging while maintaining the slim design of the phone. This new technology, significantly thinner than the standard 0.3 mm coils, will also be compatible with wireless charging systems from popular car brands like BYD, NIO, Zeekr, and others.

Although Oppo has not officially disclosed the battery capacity of the Find N5, rumors suggest it will come with a 5,700 mAh battery and 80W fast charging support. The device will also stand out as the world’s first foldable phone powered by the seven-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Additionally, the Find N5 will feature IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 certifications, making it one of the first foldable phones with water resistance from all directions. Oppo officials have emphasized that they have minimized screen creasing issues in the foldable display and improved screen integrity compared to the Find N3.
We’ll have to wait and see the impact of the Find N5’s slim build, powerful hardware, and durability in the foldable phone market. Do you think Oppo’s new flagship will gain an advantage over its competitors? Share your thoughts in the comments!
