Technology giant Apple has rolled up its sleeves for a new version of its popular Studio Display model. According to information from industry sources, the company is working intensively on the new display it plans to introduce in 2026. So what features will Apple’s new Studio Display model come with? Here are the details!
Apple is developing a new generation Studio Display
According to the information shared by Maru Gurman, one of the reliable leak sources about Apple, the new Studio Display model, codenamed ‘J427’, will have a 27-inch screen while maintaining its current design lines. The device is expected to be introduced alongside Macs with the M5 chip, which the brand aims to launch in 2026.

Although technical details are not yet clear, there are important claims about display technology. Display industry analyst Ross Young suggested that Apple is working on a new 27-inch display with mini-LED technology. If this model is released as the new Studio Display, it could offer higher brightness and better contrast compared to the current LED-based model.
Apple introduced the first Studio Display model in 2022. This model, which has 5K resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 600 nit brightness, Thunderbolt 3 connection and integrated speaker-camera system, is sold in the US starting from $ 599. The new model is likely to be in a similar price range.
The company has not yet made an official statement about the technical specifications of the new Studio Display. However, the advantages of mini-LED technology can offer a better visual experience in the Apple ecosystem. Although there are about two years before the new model is released, it is thought that Apple may add different innovations in this process.
